This initiative maximizes the impact of small donations by combining them with CGPS commitments into a pooled fund that supports opportunities for graduate students and postdocs to engage in research in a variety of ways.

 

 


Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition is a USask and University of Manitoba collaboration drawing over 2,000 attendees from across Canada and features the research of many graduate students.

Our goal is to bring together graduate students, faculty members, researchers, and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss and present the research and innovations in different areas of Computer Science and Bioinformatics.

ComSciConCAN is Canada’s first national science communication workshop for graduate students. This unique professional development program aims to help the next generation of leaders in STEM fields develop the skills needed to communicate their research and ideas to their peers, experts in other fields, policymakers, and the general public.

The theme of this year's symposium is Gendered Pathways to Peace: Reframing Security in a Global Context. This event brings together USask graduate students from Political Studies and Women and Gender Students to engage in critical research on gender, peace, and security. 

Women, Peace and Security Agenda is a key international commitment of the Canadian government (and many governments globally) and an outgrowth of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, which recognizes how gender inequality is connected to the prevalence of conflict and is a barrier to building peace.
