Staying Apart, but still Together
Built on the framework of typical module-based content, you have access to take a deeper dive into the content within the Grad Onboarding platform by selecting specific modules that interest you in the Hub Lab. Come and go from the platform at your leisure throughout the lifecycle of your program. Not interested in modules - no problem, join a lab discussion group instead! Self-enroll and come back anytime.
Calling all Champions
The Grad Hub onboarding platform was born from an orientation concept taken to the next level. In a thematic approach of centralized and synthesized information, our concept is to reach graduate students with relevant information when they need to know regardless of what stage they are in their program.
Various units at USask organize events and provide resources and services to support the professional development and well-being of graduate students. Please check back often as the following list continues to grow!
Transitioning to Grad School
Teaching, either as a lab instructor, class instructor, or teaching assistant, can be intimidating to graduate students or Postdocs who have no prior teaching experience. The GMCTL offers workshops, non-credit courses, and resources for graduate students and Postdocs who are new to teaching and who already have some experience but want to learn more.
